Here is a Vegetable Oil BIO that can be used without restriction. She is only Bountiful.

It is extracted from a shrub from South America and is known for centuries for its undeniable dermo-cosmetic qualities: the virgin Jojoba oil is restructuring to skin. Excellent hair care, it nourishes, softens and treats.

Its history and where they live
Jojoba is native to the semi-desert areas of northern Mexico and the southern United States (southern California and Arizona). It belongs to the family of Simmondsiaceae and order Euphorbiaceae.
Its scientific name is: Simmondsia chinensis. His Indian name was "Hohowi." The name "jojoba" derives from its former Mexican name: "chohobba" which became "jojoba" in Spanish. The plant is eaten by deer, goats and sheep, the shepherds have called "goatnut" ("sheep nuts").

The seeds, rich in protein (35%) were their food while the oil was also used as a remedy to heal the wounds, to protect the skin and hair against the dry desert. Jojoba was used as a tonic hair but the essential virtue of jojoba was to preserve the smoothness of the skin.

Finally in 1982, jojoba oil even gets support from the Government of Sudan and the United Nations. They met at a conference to promote the culture of Jojoba that not only gives a very interesting oil but also protects the soil.

Jojoba is a thick, bushy shrub. The lower branches are more developed and generally form as a hemisphere.

It is a plant with a taproot; this ensures the main root anchorage and storage of plant reserves.
jojoba This root system maintains soil stabilization and inhibits the growth of deserts in the world. It also provides resistance of the plant facing severe drought conditions, so much so that it can withstand a year and a half without water.

The leaves are oval, leathery, hairy on both sides form.
Young leaves are a soft gray or green then become greenish yellow.

The female flowers are isolated pale green. The male flowers are yellow, small and arranged in a cluster of heads. Flowering starts in March / April. The fruit is a capsule and it grows in July / August

In the Sonoran Desert, jojoba lives in symbiosis with a little mouse Perognatus baileyi. It feeds on seeds, dig burrows and thus facilitates the penetration of water into the soil and the seeds can germinate isolated.

It is grown in South America, Israel, Argentina and Africa.

Properties of virgin oil of Jojoba
Jojoba oil is referred to as "oil", but its chemical composition, it is more like a liquid wax, which contains 97% wax esters.

Jojoba oil is the one that is closest to natural sebum secreted by our glands is one of the few oils whose composition is similar to human sebum. It thus creates a non-fat hydration layer on the surface of the skin.
It is a stable oil, that does not go rancid at all (it is resistant to oxidation and heat) has .L'huile Jojoba the distinction of being perfectly stable, due to the absence of triglycerides in its composition (wax esters present). It therefore does not become rancid, and does not require the use of preservatives or antioxidants in the cosmetic formulation.

This oil is interesting because it contains high levels of polyunsaturated fatty acids, long chain (20-24 carbons); so it is a direct source of AGI long chain for the organization, without having to seek its enzymatic equipment (desaturase and elongase) which is often weakened (during aging).

Jojoba oil is also characterized by its high content of unsaponifiables: it plays an important role in protecting the skin (absorption in the UV-B, the max: 280 nm) and for the healing of the skin .

Applications

Jojoba oil is not food, although it can be ingested. Its laxative action limits its use as oil diet. It is poorly digestible (no lipase capable of hydrolyzing the wax esters).

The use of jojoba oil in cosmetics.

Its ability to penetrate is extraordinary. It is a perfect vehicle for aromatherapy. Its smell is pleasant and does not require refining. Virgin Jojoba oil is a wax (97% wax esters) and non-greasy feel, used in cosmetics, like Shea, for its unsaponifiable (about 50%).

Skin: Ideal for sensitive, dry and acne. Its application to the acne lesions regulates secretion of sebum and thus tends to combat acne. The restructuring properties of the skin are a base oil of the pharmacopoeia. It also reveals a moisturizing and softening.

Hair: Excellent hair care, it nourishes, softens, strengthens, and makes them shiny. Jojoba oil effectively treats seborrheic hypersecretion and dandruff.

Not sensitive to heat or UV. Viscosity. It is used as an antioxidant to protect cosmetic formulations.

Properties of jojoba oil:
- Emollient : Penetrates well and regenerates the skin.
- Balancing : Probably because of his kinship with sebum, its use on the skin regulates its production.
- Protector : Creates a movie non-fat that preserves the natural moisture of the skin against harsh cold and drought.
- Anti-inflammatory: base for skin care for sensitive skin Excellent.
- Anti-UV : Natural Protection Sunscreen 5 .
