BEE POLLEN: Benefits, Side Effects, Uses, Dosage, Warnings?

Apitherapy mean treatment with bees, it's an old practice. It is to know and use the properties of bee products to improve and maintain the health of human beings.

It is a method of natural treatment complementary based on bee products. It is used to prevent and promote healing. Individual therapy mainly uses the following six bee products: honey, propolis, royal jelly, pollen, flowers, bee venom and beeswax.

In this article, we will talk pollen second article in this series (see the first article: the virtues of honey) followed later by other bee products.

The pollen comes from flowers and sperm flowers. Bees visit several thousand varieties of flowers, just bathing and rubbing in flowers, a wealth within our reach. Once brought back to the hive, these balls are stored few days. By fermentation, they will evolve into a food called bee bread. [i]

Pollen contains proteins, vitamins and essential fats to produce new bees. Pollen is collected at the entrance of hives by beekeepers with a trap hole to allow bees to pass but sufficient enough to keep the pollen from their legs . [ii]

Pollen is a "concentrate plant," merely by the varieties of plants (2000 species of plants visited by bees), pollen has a multi color characteristic. Merely by its composition, 35 grams daily pollen can satisfy protein requirements for humans, what a vegetarian. Pollen contains 22 amino acids (such as the 22 Hebrew letters behind the creation of the universe) by itself, 18 vitamins, 25 minerals (Ca, Mg, P, ..), etc.

Here is a list indicating where pollen can promote healing in complementary mode (the indications obviously does not mean that the pollen is able to him alone to solve the proposed condition or disorder).

The rule of thumb is to always keep her fresh pollen in the refrigerator in a tightly closed jar to preserve as long as possible all the qualities of it.

Always make sure not to allergic reaction, it always starts with small doses increasing slowly. Generally, taking pollen is one with a "vehicle" such as yogurt, honey, applesauce for the envelope pollen dissolves to avoid working the stomach [iv] .

You can take preventive pollen 1-5 teaspoons per day, this depends on the weight and age of the person, I refer you to the website of Dr. Donadieu for assay [v] .

For example, one can also mention that pollen can help treat complementary fashion: frigidity, boils, gingivitis, the glossitis, flu, impotence, insomnia and laryngitis [vi] .

Pollen has no side effects and can be taken as a supplement in all situations, so obviously, you do not do allergy. [vii]
